These experiences fueled the fire for him to eventually make the move to join the ministry of Vox School of Discipleship. Jeff was greatly impacted during experiences with Torchbearers International, which included an outdoor adventure program in New Zealand and a gap year Bible school in Sweden. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Liberty University, he played professional soccer for seven years. Jeff grew up mainly in Central Florida and spent most summers in South America on mission trips. His family also spent two years serving with NewCity Parramore Ave., an inner-city church plant. He took a leadership role with his church, NewCity Orlando, as the “Mercy Ministry Liaison” connecting church members with opportunities to do justice in the city. He spent 13 years at Orangewood Christian School as both a teacher of Biblical Studies and the Head of Spiritual Life Development. Jeff moved with his wife, Clarissa, and four children from Orlando, Florida, to join the Vox team in the summer of 2018. He has owned and operated with a partner, both a real estate investment company (High Water Mark 2002 - 2007) as well as a strength and conditioning consulting company (Upstate Elite Fitness 2011-2013). He has taught at Shannon Forest and for Southeastern Seminary through the Renewal Leadership Institute (2011-2012). He serves as a Guest Lecturer at: Torchbearers in Winter Park, CO, and Onelife in Lancaster, PA, currently. (High school, undergrad, and graduate school) He holds a BA in Biblical Studies with minor in Philosophy from Palm Beach Atlantic University as well as a MA in Biblical Teaching from Erskine. In addition, he has served as the school chaplain for Shannon Forest Christian School and taught at various other institutions. Prior to that, he spent the last 13 years in pastoral ministry - most recently as the campus pastor for Grace Church Downtown (Greenville, SC). Josh founded Vox in 2015, originally titling the program Vox Bivium then later enhancing it to its current state, Vox School of Discipleship.
